Spring flowers

Hey guys!

I do hope that each of you are well, safe and healthy.
I have been unable to get onto the blog as you can tell, but it's no longer a problem.
The links have been updated to allow you sign-up for your sessions as we continue learning.
I have missed keeping you all updated as to what has been taking place and all that is ahead.
So much to share.

SPRING IS HERE!!!
Enjoy all the beauty that mother nature is giving to us.  Get out doors and move your body, take a walk in the neighborhood, but continue to be safe. Ride your bike, scooter or skates for a few minutes.  Your body needs the sunshine, you need to have some fun and your parents need a break. :)
Fall Gardening Timeline - Best Time to Plant Spring Flowers  Smell the flowers if you can.  You can see the changes that are taking place in nature all around us.  Stop while your outside and draw pictures of those flowers, bees, butterflies and all.

UPDATES:

I'll start with the fun times of BINGO!!  We had a lot of participation and winners!
It's a great way for you to see and interact with you peers as we all race to win. So if you haven't been able to join us, Wednesday is just around the corner. All prizes for the winners have been mailed out.

Of course Story Time with Ms. Fox is happening, not so much on the weekends, but I'm here.  We have been enjoying listening to stories read to us by Mrs. Obama on Mondays and sharing family pets during our social time.  If you want to move your body to some tunes, we do that too just before the stories begin.  So tune in with us each night at 7 PM or click the tab above 🠩🠩 that says, Story Time with Ms. Fox. I post some recordings there for you to watch.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week!!!
You get to celebrate all of your teachers.  I mean the ones from school and those now at home with you each day.
So do a little something each day to make them smile and let them know you appreciate
all that they do to help you grow as you learn great stuff.

So, for all you parents out there doing what needs to be and helping to support your child's learning, I want you to know that
I Appreciate You! 💜

Mother's Day is on Sunday, so be sure to create something special for that very special woman in your life.  You know the one that takes care of you, helps you assignment, cooks your meals and takes you to the doctor when you are sick.  Show her some love by doing or creating something that shows her just how special she is.

Magnificent Monday!

Yesterday was the best day!!!
For our normal reading we had the special treat of hearing a story read to us by Mrs. Michelle Obama!!  It was so exciting to be able to have this opportunity.
The children that joined us for Story Time were surprised and enjoyed it too.

You missed it, no worries.
Every Monday for the next 3 weeks, all students and families will be able to experience this treat.  In collaboration with PBSKids.org, we have the pleasure of having her read aloud.  I will of course share it with all of you right here on the blog or on my YouTube Channel, Story Time with Ms.Fox.  In my humble opinion, I think this is very special and will be remembered by all.

So with no further ado, I present the Mondays with Michelle,

Changes in Place

Spring Break has been a BLAST!!!
I spent a great deal of time working on some long overdue home DIY projects.
I can't wait to hear all that you have done.
The weather was great, the sun was shining and families were together.
Share with me all that you did during our official Spring Break.

As we return to our new platform of digital learning there have been some changes or updates.
Beginning Monday, April 13, 2020, for all Cobb County students, and for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year, digital learning will occur on a Monday through Thursday schedule.
Each Friday will be an opportunity for students to independently review their progress from the previous week and to catch-up on assignments as needed. No new work or assignments will be presented to students on Fridays.

WhachaReading Wednesday!

#SpiritWeek continues!

Reading is a great way to take a break.  If you like adventure, comedy, or believe in magic, reading is for you!  Reading allows your imagination to soar to heights and places you normally dream about.  There are so many benefits to get from reading.
When you read, you get to see the places, people, animals and creature you're reading about.  Your imagination creates pictures that you can actually see.  The bonus is if the book as great pictures!
Reading helps to build your vocabulary, learn new information, learn about people and places you could only dream of.

I enjoy reading as much as I enjoy traveling. :)  I like to read all types of books even though I'm not a kid, I read those too.  They have cool pictures and are very interesting.
Share with us today a picture of what you are reading.
